Paramount begins search for the galaxy
According to the news portal Deadline , the cult sci-fi comedy " In Search of the Galaxy " will form the basis of a television series.The project is being handled by Paramount Television , which plans to invite the creators of the original film, screenwriter Robert Gordon, director Dean Parisot and producer Mark Johnson, to work on the new show. All three will also serve as executive producers. Quest for the Galaxy was originally created as a parody of Star Trek ( Star Trek ) and stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalub, Sam Rockwell, Daryl Mitchell and Enrico Colantoni. The main characters are participants in a long-forgotten space TV show, who accidentally get on a real intergalactic ship and are tasked with saving the alien race. The picture was enthusiastically received by the audience and quickly acquired the status of a cult.
