Screen Gems , with a track record of the Resident Evil, Underworld and Hostel franchises, is preparing a new project for thrill seekers. According to The Hollywood Reporter , the Hollywood studio is starting work on the horror film Corpse * ( Cadaver ).The director's chair of the film will be taken by the Dutchman Diederik Van Ruzhen , who over the past three years has received two nominations for the Netherlands national film award for his work on the thrillers "Daylight" and "Filmed". The latter, by the way, is already preparing to receive an American remake. The script for " Corpse " was written by the author of the second and third parts of the film series "Boogeyman" - Brian Seave. The main character of the horror will be a police officer who recently left the rehabilitation center. She gets a job as a night watchman in the morgue of a local hospital, not knowing that soon a series of strange and frightening events will sweep through the hospital, the culprit of which will be a demon-possessed corpse ...  The horror film will be produced by Todd Garner and Sean Robins, and the project will be curated by Clint Culpepper and Scott Strauss. After the success at home, Van Ruzhen has no shortage of proposals from Hollywood studios.
