Slash is producing slasher
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , ex-guitarist of the rock band Guns N'Roses, known by the pseudonym Slash , is going to act as a producer of a horror film, which, according to the idea, will give the beginning of a whole franchise.The as-yet-unnamed slasher has been written by Brian Seave ("Boogeyman 2"). Details of the plot have not yet been disclosed, but there is information that the new film will resemble the popular 80s franchises "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th". Kelly Wagner and Nick Phillips, representatives of the Revolver Picture production company, with whom Slash will collaborate, shared their impressions of the meeting with their newly minted colleague with journalists. “We knew he was interested in horror, so we organized a dinner together. He is inspired by the classic paintings of the studio Universal from the 70s and, doubly pleasant, from the 80s, ”says Phillips , and Wagner adds: “We practically agree with him.
