Online service Netflix decided to try its hand at making films in the slasher genre. According to Deadline, the streaming giant has outpaced a number of Hollywood studios in the fight for the rights to film the film adaptation of Stephanie Perkins' novel There's Someone Inside Your House.The book went on sale only a few months ago, but has already managed to make it onto The New York Times bestseller list. According to literary critics, Perkins has successfully combined the genres of horror and adolescent novel about the hardships of growing up. The protagonist of the story was a teenage girl named Makani Young, who had to leave her parental home in Hawaii and move to Nebraska to live with her grandmother. Makani was just beginning to adapt to life in the corn state when a series of brutal murders swept through her new school ... The book will be adapted by Henry Hayden (Extraterrestrial Echo).  Horror master James Wan (Saw: The Survival Game, The Conjuring) and Oscar-nominated Sean Levy, who has worked with Netflix on the highly acclaimed Mystery series, will be hired to produce the film.
