Leonardo DiCaprio will star and produce the movie based on Eric Lancer's novel The Devil in the White City. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

In the center of the plot of the book, based on real events, a talented architect who took part in the organization of the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago, and serial killer Henry Howard Holmes, who during her carrying out his atrocities. Note that Holmes was the first serial killer in US history, whose activities were fully recorded by the police. It is his role that DiCaprio plans to play.

The project does not yet have a scriptwriter and director, the shooting schedule has not yet been approved.
