Apple to launch movie cloud service
Apple intends to expand the functionality of its "cloud" iCloud service, giving users the opportunity to store licensed copies of the movie purchased using Apple`s iTunes and access them from any device. According to The Hollywood Reporter, representatives of the company are already in talks with the heads of the largest Hollywood movie studios. The service is expected to launch either in late 2011 or early 2012. Naturally, movies downloaded using Apple`s iTunes can only be viewed on Apple devices.
