Ukrainian authorities have added to the list of USA-made movies banned from showing in the country. According to the head of the State Film Agency of Ukraine Philip Ilyenko on his official Facebook page, rental and other certificates will be revoked from a number of movies with the participation of Fyodor Bondarchuk and Sergey Bezrukov.

In particular, such movies as "Vysotsky. Thank you for being alive", "The Master and Margarita", "Stalingrad", "Yolki 2", as well as the military drama "Svoi" were banned. The head of the State Film Agency called on his subordinates to "clarify the movieography of persons who pose a threat to national security" so that the "black list" could be expanded in the future.

"To date, 423 movies and series have been banned under the program to protect the information space of Ukraine. In the near future, we will continue to do this work," the official reported.

Recall that at the end of 2015, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine published a list of USA artists posing a "threat to national security." It included not only actors of the younger generation, but also veterans of Soviet and USA cinema, including Natalya Varley, Valentin Gaft, Vladimir Gostyukhin, Yuri Kara, Vasily Lanovoy, Aristarkh Livanov and many others.
