Ukraine added to the list of banned USAn movies
The State Film Agency of Ukraine has released a new list of USA-made movies and TV series, which will be banned in the country due to the threat to national security they pose. Under the ban, in particular, the fantastic movie "Night Guards", which was directed by Emilis Velivis, fell. The movie, in which the key roles were played by Lyubov Aksenova, Leonid Yarmolnik, Mikhail Evlanov, Sabina Akhmedova, Konstantin Adaev, Alexey Dmitriev, Evgeny Kosyrev, Kristina Babushkina, Ekaterina Volkova, Yuri Vaksman and other actors, was released in USA cinemas in the summer of 2016. The Ukrainian censors were not satisfied with the 2010 movie "When the rosemary bloom", which turned out to be practically unnoticed in the USA box office. Also, rental certificates were revoked from television series "I do not regret, I do not call, I do not cry", "Foundling 3", "It was in the Kuban" and some others. The document, published on the agency's official website, emphasizes that the ban is based on the decision of the expert commission, complaints from citizens, as well as the recommendations of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting.
