Showtime has commissioned the production of Billions, a twelve hour long drama series. This is reported by ComingSoon, citing Showtime President David Nevins.

Emmy and Golden Globe laureates Paul Giamatti star in the modern drama about the power of politics in the high finance world of New York (" John Adams ") and Damian Lewis (" Homeland "). Billions is written and executive produced by Brian Koppelman (Ocean's Thirteen), David Levin (Va-Bank) and Andrew Ross Sorkin (Too Cool for Failure). The series, which began production of the pilot earlier this year, will be movieed in New York and is scheduled to premiere in 2016.
