Marvel Studios Changed Premiere Dates
Following a partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, Marvel has postponed the premiere dates of some of its movies. According to the official press release, changes in the rental schedules will affect four projects - "Thor 3: Rognarok", which will be released on November 3, 2017 instead of July 28, 2017, "Black Panther" - July 6, 2018 instead of 3 November 2017, Captain Marvel - November 2, 2018 instead of July 6, 2018, Inhumans - July 12, 2019 instead of November 2, 2018. Recall that under the contract between Sony Pictures and Marvel, Spider-Man will appear in a Marvel studio project and only then in a Sony Pictures solo movie. The premiere of the latter is scheduled for July 28, 2017. Production of the Sony movie will be overseen by Marvel chief executive Kevin Feig and his team of experts. In turn, Sony Pictures will finance the movie, present it at the box office and own other rights.
