Chinese manufacturer Oppo has presented its new Find X gadget. The smartphone is characterized by a number of innovative developments, an unusual body design and a frameless design - the ratio of the screen area to the front panel is 93%.
The new Find X did not copy the design of the iPhone X, as well as its many variations of Android devices - the gadget lacks a characteristic notch on the top of the case. The cameras of the phone - basic (16 + 20 megapixels), frontal (25 megapixels) and built-in 3D-scanner - are grouped into a special separate block, which automatically pops up if the user needs to use it. During the period when the gadget is disabled or the camera application itself is inactive, a special block is recessed.
According to the developers, the camera pops up in less than 1 second, which is confirmed in practice. The device is equipped with a 6.4-inch OLED screen, while the phone is well controlled with one hand. In general, the novelty is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus - the body of the smartphone from Oppo has rounded corners, and the glass surface on the front and back covers is slightly curved.
The new smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor, which includes 8 cores that accelerate to 2.8 GHz. The gadget device has an Adreno 630 graphics controller and a Snapdragon X20 LTE mobile modem. Phone RAM - 8 GB, internal storage capacity - 128 and 256 GB.
The gadget is powered by a 3730 mAh battery with built-in VOOC technology (provides fast phone charging). The smartphone runs on ColorOS 5.1 operating system based on Android 8.1 Oreo, which in the future will be updated to Android P.
Orro's Find X is not equipped with a fingerprint-scanning security device. Instead, there is a scanner for recognizing the user's face. The scanner starts working after moving your hand over the display: the device activates the camera on the drawer, which "recognizes" its owner, after which the phone is unlocked.
Along with the Find X, there is also a limited edition called Find X Lamborghini Limited Edition. This model has its own characteristics, both in design and internal filling. The back of the "racing" smartphone is made of carbon material and has the Lamborghini brand logo, and special packaging is provided for this gadget.
The phone will probably get its name thanks to the built-in Super VOOC technology - ultra-fast charging. The developers claim that the device fully recovers the battery in 30-35 minutes. At the same time, the battery of the model is characterized by a capacity of 3400 mAh as opposed to 3730 mAh of the standard Find X. Also Find X Lamborghini has an internal storage of 512 GB, which differs from the standard model for which the maximum figure is 256 GB.
