The Korean company Samsung has been very active lately, announcing many of its new developments. Yesterday she introduced the Galaxy A80 smartphone. Several versions of the Note 10 line are coming soon.

A80 has a retractable camera

Almost the entire front panel of the novelty is occupied by the screen. This happened due to the almost complete absence of frames and a visible selfie camera.

The main thing that is interesting about the Galaxy A80 smartphone is its cameras. The main camera block consists of three sensors. When a user wants to take a selfie photo, he moves up and turns the lenses forward.

This gadget is not the first to use a retractable camera scheme, but it is the only one with a similar form factor for its implementation.

The device received a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels. Its hardware is run by a processor with eight cores (two at 2.2 GHz, six at 1.7 GHz), which is assisted by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM.

The battery with a capacity of 3700 mAh with the ability to fast charge at 25 W is responsible for its autonomy. It is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The above pop-up camera consists of three lenses: the main one received a resolution of 48 megapixels with an aperture of f / 2.0; the second is wide-angle (1230) with 8 megapixels and f / 2.2 aperture; the latter is a 3D camera.

Devices in this series usually have lower performance and, as a result, they are sold at a cheaper price than Galaxy S and Galaxy Note. However, all the latest developments of the company are tested on the gadgets of this line.

Then they are successfully introduced to flagship devices. For example, we can recall that the first smartphone from the company with a camera peephole in the display was the Galaxy A8s, which appeared last year. A few months later, everyone saw the same functionality in the S10.

However, this does not mean at all that PTZ cameras will soon appear in the Galaxy Note or S. Nobody knows anything for sure, but this possibility cannot be denied.

It is worth adding that the Galaxy A80 has several drawbacks. For example, it doesn't have a headphone jack and hasn't been taught to read microSD cards. It is reasonable to assume that the flagships will have all this.

The company also showed the Galaxy A70 , which received a simpler design. He was also allocated three sensors (with a resolution of 32, 8 and 5 megapixels) for the main camera unit, but it is rigidly fixed on the rear panel. There is a small cutout at the top for the selfie camera.

Another smartphone Samsung Galaxy A70 was equipped with a chipset with eight cores, clocked at 2 GHz and 1.7 GHz. The chip is supported by 6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of RAM with a MicroSDXC card reader.

It has a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 4500 mAh battery that supports fast charging. A fingerprint scanner and face recognition function are responsible for security.

Multiple versions of Galaxy Note 10

Recently, it was reported that the flagship Galaxy Note 10 lineup will consist of four versions. The firm recently announced the Galaxy S10 and were pleased with the public's reaction to the size of the device. Moreover, the 5G version of the larger Galaxy S10 Plus will soon be shown.

ET News published information that the Galaxy Note lineup will consist of four gadgets. Moreover, they will definitely all receive different dimensions of displays and there will be a model that supports 5G networks.

Samsung is said to release a 6.28-inch version of the Galaxy Note 10 with a triple camera array and a giant 6.75-inch gadget with four main cameras.

The Galaxy Note 9 currently has a 6.4-inch Quad HD display and dual cameras. We can conclude that the new items will introduce a new size of displays and an increased number of cameras.

The publication assumes that support for the 5G format will appear immediately, and not later, as was the case with the Galaxy S10, a similar version of which has not yet been released. Only a month later, a similar product will allegedly appear in the USA.

The Galaxy Note 10 is likely to start shipping later this summer or early fall.
