Motorola is bringing back styluses to smartphones

Currently, such devices as a stylus are equipped with smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy Note line and several other products from other manufacturers. Gradually, the need for them disappears, since now all mobile devices have not resistive, but touch screens.

However, Motorola has its own opinion on this matter. They want to breathe a second life into this accessory.

Recently, insider Evan Blass circulated the information on the network that Motorola engineers are working on a device that will be equipped with a stylus.

Little is known about this smartphone. It is clear that it will receive the above accessory that supports data entry. It is also assumed that there is a hole in the display for a selfie camera, since such a product should have narrow frames and a large usable front panel area.

It is possible that the novelty will launch a new line of Motorola devices. Then it will definitely compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite smartphone and it is not a fact that the latter will be the winner in it. It's all about the flexible pricing policy of the US company, striving to do everything for a full return to the mobile device market.

If a device with a stylus and flagship equipment costs around 400-450 US dollars, it will lead the company to the cherished goal. At this time, there are many flagships, the cost of which is from $ 500. This move will allow Motorola not only to gain a significant market share, but also to firmly gain a foothold in this segment.

The company is now releasing Moto Z, which claims to be premium. Since it has poor technical equipment, it has no chance to compete with analogues of other manufacturers (which have more advanced filling).

Motorola Moto G8 and G8 Power will receive large batteries and Android 10

Insiders recently received information regarding Motorola's G-line smartphones. As mentioned above, the devices of this series do not have much commercial success. Apparently, the manufacturer took this into account and decided to revive the line with the release of two new devices - Moto G8 and G8 Power. The other day, information about the technical equipment of these devices was published. It is known for sure that outwardly they differ little from each other.

Both devices received cutouts in the front panel for the selfie camera sensor. Display Moto G8 received a diagonal size of 6.39 inches and a resolution of 1560 ? 720 pixels. The version with the Power prefix has a slightly smaller screen - 6.36 inches, with a resolution of 2300 ? 1080 pixels.

The "heart" of both smartphones is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with RAM ranging from 2 to 4 GB. The smaller version has 32 or 64 GB of internal memory, while the G8 Power has only 64 GB.

The block of the main camera of the older version received one more sensor. There are four of them here (16 + 8 + 2 + 2 Mp), while the second device has only three (16 + 8 + 2 Mp). Battery capacities also vary - 5000 mAh and 4000 mAh, respectively. The OS will be Android 10.

For security purposes, there is a fingerprint scanner embedded in the brand logo on the back cover.

In Europe and the US, the clamshell will be equipped with the Snapdragon 710 chipset platform. It does not support fifth generation networks. For China, a special version of the device with a 5G modem will be released based on the Snapdragon 765 or Exynos 980 processor. The latest modification will be released in the second half of the year.

Regardless of the platform, the product will receive 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM.
