Apple develops flexible display smartphone

In fact, the Apple team has created a new kind of hinge that does not form a fold line (by using a circular hinge) when the product screen is folded.

It may seem to many that a device with such a form factor will not be able to close completely. If this is even so, then there is confidence that Yabloko engineers will solve this problem in the near future.

It has already been repeatedly noted that any patent often remains on paper. No one can yet guarantee that a device of this type will appear in production and will be brought to the market. However, if something like this has already begun to happen, then one thing means - the Americans have begun work on creating their own version of a mobile device with a foldable screen.

It is likely that in the near future they will come up with another way to fold the gadget. This company is known to be slow to innovate. They adhere to the principle of "wait and see". It involves observing the introduction of new technologies from other manufacturers and assessing their commercial success. If deemed acceptable, Apple will develop the required technology and build its product from it.

Therefore, we can say with complete confidence that in the near future the world will not see a bendable smartphone from this company.

Nokia will showcase smartwatches at MWC 2020

The MWC 2020 exhibition will open soon, to which representatives of many companies specializing in the production of electronic products will bring their new developments.

Nokia is rumored to be announcing its own smartwatch at this forum.

This is supposed to happen on February 23rd. Prior to this, there were a number of leaks from insiders, which said that the company had closed several of its projects. The list includes work on several models of watches, a mini-projector, a portable printer and an external battery. It is claimed that the new product will receive a number of interesting features. Among them: certification from Google and outfitting Wear OS with all the apps out of the box. It is also said that the watch will be equipped with eSIM, which will enable it to transfer data over cellular networks.

It turns out that Nokia specialists have developed a wearable accessory that can work independently of a smartphone. How much it will cost is not yet known. The smartwatch is expected to start in the US and Europe.

Redmi smartphone will not have a built-in fingerprint scanner

Through the efforts of the insider @_the_tech_guy, sketches of the yet unannounced Redmi Note 9 smartphone have been leaked to the network. For the first time, it is possible to find out some of the design details of this device.

It can be seen that its front camera is located in the upper left corner. The rear panel has a vertical block of the main camera, consisting of three lenses and a flash. The manufacturer has installed a fingerprint scanner next to it. Earlier there was information that it will be subscreen, but they were not confirmed.

All other elements are distributed like most smartphones: a speaker and a USB Type-C port on the bottom panel, a SIM card slot on the left, power and volume buttons on the right side.

On the left side, the developers have installed a physical button. It is possible that it is needed to control the operation of the camera.

When Redmi Note 9 is announced is not yet known.

Motorola RAZR (2019) gets another color option

Motorola has announced the start of pre-order for the RAZR clamshell (2019), which will go on sale on February 18th. They were postponed from the 6th to this date, as the device attracted the interest of many users, despite the rather high base price - $ 1,499 USA.

Insider Evan Blass, who is known for his accurate predictions, said that this model will receive another color option. Currently, only black is known to be available in the RAZR (2019) color gamut. Blass claims they will also sell the devices in black and gold.

This device has an interesting flexible 6.21 "screen and an external 2.7" display for quick access to some functions and displaying notifications.

It is also known that its "heart" is the Snapdragon 710 processor with 6 GB of RAM. One camera with a 16 megapixel sensor is responsible for the photo capabilities of the smartphone. Autonomy is provided by a 2510 mAh battery.
