Finally, information has emerged regarding two of the company's most popular products. Let's tell you more about them.

MacBook Air price cut and 12-inch MacBook discontinued

The American company is changing its sales tactics for MacBook Pro and Air, significant changes are coming. The entry-level MacBook Air is now priced at $ 1,099 (RUB 94,000 in USA). Both devices are equipped with an 8th generation Intel Core i5 dual-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.6 GHz, which is supported by 8 GB of RAM and an Intel UHD 617 graphics card. The amount of internal memory can vary from 128 to 256 GB.

These specifications are exactly the same as those of the previous generation MacBook Air. However, there is one very important difference. Both gadgets feature a new 13-inch Retina display with True Tone support.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro comes in three trim levels, all with Touch Bar. The cheapest option costs 110,000 rubles. It is powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i5 quad-core processor @ 1.4GHz, 8GB of RAM, Intel Iris Plus 645 graphics, 128GB of storage, Touch Bar and Touch ID, and two Thunderbolt 3 ports.

The next version of the device costs 126,000 rubles. Its technical characteristics differ only in the size of the drive - 256 GB. An even more expensive package, estimated at 156,000 rubles, received an 8th generation quad-core Intel Core i5 processor with a frequency of 2.4 GHz and four Thunderbolt 3 ports.

The downside of the MacBook Pro is that if the customer needs a device with more than two Thunderbolt 3 ports, they will have to purchase the version for 156,000 rubles.

An iPhone without a top cutout will appear next year

Recently, opinions were voiced on the prospects for the iPhone 2020 release. It is assumed that one of the first steps of the company may be to increase the usable area of the front panel.

This means that the device will lose its usual cutout at the top of the screen, i.e. the design of the model will radically change.

Two well-known insiders and analysts, one of whom is Kuo, also believe. It has been suggested that Apple will release at least one full-screen iPhone in 2020. Perhaps this will be possible by reducing the size of the front lens.

Before that, it was believed that something similar would happen this year. But the experts were wrong. All three main iPhone models of this year will not have any design changes.

Recently, the China Times, citing data from Credit Suisse, reported that the iPhone without a cutout will lose Face ID next year. Instead, it will receive an invisible subscreen front camera and fingerprint authentication built into the display.

This functionality will become more convenient as it provides for placement in any part of the display.

Analysts believe that such a re-equipment of the company's smartphones may not happen next, but in 2021.

Oppo recently revealed its new under-screen camera technology. It is known that Samsung is a direct competitor of Yabloko and will try to do everything to equip their smartphones with this technology before the Americans.

The latter are in no hurry to introduce all the most modern. They are waiting for these technologies to improve and become cheaper.

It is also known that next year Apple will announce its first device equipped with 5G support. The battle for customers continues.
