A new leak suggests that Chinese developers have not abandoned the idea of creating a foldable smartphone, but there are changes in its design. This is confirmed by the presence of information in the database of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) about the new Xiaomi device. It has a clamshell design.

The description for the device says that it is equipped with special magnetic elements to prevent accidental opening. It also talks about the presence of a hinge that allows the smartphone to fold in half. At the same time, no gaps are formed between its halves.

Other technical data and characteristics of the device were not disclosed. The documents only describe the layout of its electronic components. The smartphone is not supposed to have a front camera. Its role will be played by the main module by bending the device and giving it the desired position.

How much the device will cost and when its release will take place has not been announced.

Insiders have disclosed the technical data of the entire line of Samsung Galaxy S

In early February, Samsung will announce a new Galaxy S line. One of the authoritative insiders did not wait for this event and revealed the characteristics of three models: Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 + and Galaxy S20 Ultra.

According to the data presented, all devices will be equipped with AMOLED displays with an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and a resolution of 3200x1440 pixels. Their refresh rate will be 120 Hz.

Android 10 is used as the operating system. The hardware will be the Exynos 990 or Snapdragon 865 platform with 128 GB ROM or more. There is no data on RAM yet, but it is assumed that this amount will remain within 6-16 GB.

Modifications will differ in size and number of cameras. They plan to use different sensors.

The smallest model will receive a 6.2-inch display, a main camera with a 64-megapixel main sensor and a 3x optical zoom function. He will also have a 10 megapixel front camera and a 4000 mAh battery.

The Galaxy S20 + will be equipped with a screen that will be half an inch larger diagonally. They predict the presence of a time-of-flight sensor and a 4500 mAh battery.

The most advanced version - Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 6.9-inch screen. Its main camera will receive a 108 megapixel sensor, and the resolution of the front device will be 40 megapixels. Perhaps they use 10x optical and 100x digital zoom technologies, but this data is questionable.

Most likely, this smartphone will also have a high-capacity battery. At least 5000 mAh.

The Galaxy S line will be released on February 11th.

Google Pixel 4 gets a skinny version

Earlier on the network there was information from a network source under the pseudonym OnLeaks that Google engineers are developing a simplified version of the Pixel 4a device.

More details about this have recently surfaced.

Insider @ akes29 said there will be three models in the lineup: Sunfish, Redfin and Bramble. The core of the hardware filling of the first will be the Snapdragon 730 processor. The "heart" of Redfin will be the sm7250 platform with a Snapdragon 765 chip and a 5G modem.

The Bramble version will be equipped with the same chipset, the difference between the last two modifications is not reported.

The Pixel 4a lineup will hit the market this May. Pricing is expected to start at $ 560.

Vivo NEX 3 with 5G modem certified in China

The vivo NEX 3 smartphone was shown last year. Recently, the PRC has passed the certification of an updated version of the vivo NEX 3 5G device. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technologies is in charge of this in the country.

All hardware processes in the device are controlled by the Snapdragon 865 chipset with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. vivo NEX 3 5G features a 6.89-inch display with 2256 x 1080 pixels and curved edges. It occupies 99.6% of the front panel area.

Prior to that, it became known that vivo had received a certificate for a 55-watt charger. It is intended to be used in the new model.

There is also information about the photo capabilities of the novelty. It is known for sure that it will receive a main camera with three sensors with a resolution of 64 + 13 + 13 megapixels and a 16 megapixel selfie camera. It also mentions a 4500 mAh battery.

The information does not say anything about the cost of the device and the date of its announcement.
