Microsoft has developed an application called Your Phone to move and sync files. The new application is currently in testing mode.

The utility will allow you to establish a connection between files of a portable device with Windows OS and a user's smartphone based on Android. This makes it easier and faster to transfer your documents by simply dragging and dropping them from one device to another.

With Your Phone, you can, for example, instantly transfer a photo from your smartphone to PowerPoint presentation files. In the future, the developers promise to expand the application options: it will be possible to send and receive text messages and notifications. The Your Phone utility is built into the experimental Windows 10 Insider Preview, available to members of the Windows Insider testing program. The appearance of the new application on Android devices above version 7.0 was announced within a month.

Your Phone may also appear on Apple devices, but most likely with incomplete functionality. IPhone users will be able to transfer a file from their mobile device to the screen of their Windows portable device, but most likely they won't be able to move documents.

Windows operating system and mobile Android already have some integration. For example, an extensive update called the Fall Creators Update, dated last year, allowed smartphone users to transfer sites from an open mobile browser to view them on the big screen.
