The developers claim that the new charger is capable of supporting power in excess of 100 watts. This is interesting for this class of devices, but in general it is not unusual. Not long ago, OPRO introduced a similar technology supporting 125W.

To prevent overheating of the battery, Quick Charge 5 will be equipped with Qualcomm Battery Saver and Qualcomm Smart Identification functionality. The efficiency of the new development will increase by 70% compared to the previous analogue. It will receive 12 types of protection against voltage, current and temperature.

Quick Charge 5 is claimed to be compatible with Quick Charge 2 and all other versions that were released later. This will allow the new memory to be used with devices that have been operating for several years. Their charging speed will be limited only by the technical capabilities of the filling.

New Xiaomi smartphone will receive storage holes for wireless headphones

Some users have already experienced grief over the loss of their favorite accessories, which primarily include headphones. Chinese developers from Xiaomi have come up with a way to protect users from this unpleasant fact. Insiders claim that their new smartphone model will receive not only a full-screen design with a sub-screen camera, but also storage compartments for wireless headphones inside the case.

This is evidenced by an information supplement recently submitted by Xiaomi to the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs, which is part of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office).

It is known that two patents have been filed on this matter. The first one reveals the design features of the novelty, and the second talks about the form factor of the headphones themselves. Their speaker will receive a swivel connection to the rest of the cabinet. This will position the accessory in the sides of the smartphone with the speaker facing up.

The slippery approach will eliminate the protruding parts of the entire circuit, allowing users to forget about the problem of placing wireless headphones. In addition, they will be able to function as additional speakers. To do this, you need to pull the device out of the case a little.

LG Velvet Mod will receive MediaTek processor

Two months ago, LG announced the Velvet smartphone, which received an interesting design. A more affordable version was announced recently, without a 5G modem. However, the engineers of the Korean manufacturer are not going to stop there.

Insiders have learned that another Velvet model will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor. This platform is based on a 7nm process. It can deliver a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz. To improve other indicators, it uses the Mali-G77MC4 graphics accelerator, which supports the proprietary HyperEngine gaming technology.

The base modification will be equipped not with 8 GB, but 6 GB of RAM. The screen will remain the same. It will receive a 6.9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2460x1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20, 5: 9, and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Also included will be a Wacom stylus.

How much the modification will cost and when it will start selling is not reported.
