Samsung recently filed a patent for the development of a device equipped with six cameras that can rotate independently of each other. It is understood that each lens will be able to tilt and rotate at an angle relative to its axis. This will improve the field of view of the main camera, which will be able to capture more of your subject or landscape.

If you want, for example, to shoot a large panorama, the central lenses will look straight, and the outer ones will rotate to create a wider viewing angle.

The patent is titled "Apparatus and method for controlling multiple cameras for digital photography." It talks about creating a device with five wide-angle and one telephoto lenses. Most likely one sensor will have a high resolution, while the rest will be medium. A telephoto lens is used to add bokeh to the panorama and blur the background of wide-angle group shots.

It is assumed that each of the lenses (or at least one) will be able to move about its axis inward or outward. This will assist in adjusting the focal length and using the powerful optical zoom technology.

If this information is confirmed, then the Korean manufacturer will have a favorable advantage over competitors from Apple and Huawei. There is a possibility that the ideas of the engineers will be embodied in the Samsung Galaxy S30 line. Moreover, the trend of installing a large number of cameras in a smartphone continues to develop. Now there may be six of them. What will happen next will become known in the near future.

Asus smartphone will be equipped with powerful RAM

The third generation ROG Phone from Asus is expected to be released soon. The first photos and description of the device have already appeared on the website of the Chinese regulator TENAA.

The Asus ROG Phone 3 is expected to receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. All models of the new line will be equipped with this chipset, and only the most advanced version of the device will have powerful RAM.

There is also a version that the American manufacturer will offer its customers versions with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal memory.

Other features of the device include a 5800 mAh battery (according to some sources, it supports 30-watt charging), a USB-C port and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The ROG Phone 3 is known to have a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels. The frequency of its refresh or the response time to the touchscreen is not yet known.

The previous version of ROG Phone II had a front panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 49ms touch latency.

According to TENAA, ROG Phone 3 has a triple main camera module, including a 64MP main sensor. The smartphone measures 171 x 78 x 9.75 mm and weighs 240 grams.

From the above it is clear that the device has received powerful equipment. However, not all users will enjoy the lack of a headphone jack and microSD card reader. This functionality is currently in demand.

The undoubted advantage of the model will be the presence of a docking port for add-ons, including gamepads, covers with an additional screen and desktop docking stations. The original Asus ROG Phone and ROG Phone II have all this. It is unlikely that their successor will be deprived of such equipment.

How much the ROG Phone 3 will cost and when it will start selling is not yet known. The Asus ROG started at $ 899, while the ROG Phone II is currently priced at $ 940.

HONOR 30 Lite specifications announced

Recently, network informants published data on equipment and prices for the HONOR 30 Lite model. They believe the Chinese manufacturer will show it next month.

HONOR 30 Lite will receive a 6.5-inch display (resolution 2400 ? 1080 pixels), with an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. According to the company's latest tradition, a 16 megapixel front camera will be placed in the upper left corner. The main unit will consist of three sensors with a resolution of 48 + 8 + 2 Mp.

Device management is entrusted to Android 10 operating system with EMUI 10.1 software shell.

The basis of the hardware filling of the device will be the medium-budget mobile platform MediaTek Dimensity 800 with a built-in 5G modem. Autonomy will be provided by a 4000 mAh battery supporting a 22.5 W charger.

Nothing was reported about the amount of RAM and internal memory.

HONOR 30 Lite 5G is expected to be announced within a month, with an estimated price tag of $ 225.
