In addition, Apple may change the usual strategy of acquaintance with its new products. Over the past 13 years, the corporation has presented new iPhones in one annual event. Instead, there may be two presentations - the usual September premiere will be supplemented by one more, while the number of smartphones announced on them will decrease. Experts and analysts expect at least four iPhones of the twelfth series from the corporation in 2020. Each new iPhone will have its own unique specifications, but two of them will have the same 6.1-inch diagonal. We are talking about a future smartphone with so far the conditional name iPhone 12 and its older version 12 Pro.
Two other new additions are the 5.4-inch model and the most premium 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. All four devices will receive an OLED matrix, in favor of which in 2020 Apple will make the final choice over IPS displays. In addition, two out of four models, according to analysts, will definitely receive support for 5G networks and, in all likelihood, these will be older smartphones of the 12th family. In addition to all the changes, every new Apple iPhone starting in the 2020 lineup will be equipped with a proprietary modem from the company itself. To do this, in 2019, Apple acquired the corresponding manufacturing unit from Intel. The corporation did this primarily for its own independence and also in order to reduce the risk of various financial disputes with third-party manufacturers, for example, as in the case of Qualcomm. The fifth newcomer in 2020 will be the new iPhone SE, which may premiere in the first half of next year. The budget model tentatively named SE 2 will act as an alternative to the iPhone 8, as their design is largely the same, but the iPhone SE 2 will receive more modern components. According to preliminary data, the iPhone SE 2 will be equipped with a compact 4.7-inch screen, and the cost of the gadget in the simplest assembly can range from 350 to 400 dollars.
