When I watched the first season of The Demon Slasher, I was expecting something like Dorroro. I ended up seeing something different, but so cool that it made me become a fan again.

Firstly, it has to do with the amazing work Ufotable did in creating their first senen. Anime has insanely beautiful animation and amazing sound. I rarely watch anime with subtitles, but this was the case where I didn't want to miss out on the voiceovers or sound effects.

Secondly, this anime is quite simple, but the simplicity is justified, since it is banally interesting to watch. And I can safely say that this is the anime, the continuation of which is worth waiting for. Violet Evergarden Movie "Violet Evergarden" is a story about a girl who survived the war as a child and lost both dear people and her hands on it. When the war ends, she becomes an employee of the postal company "S.N." and performs the duties of a self-writing doll, helping blind people to convey their thoughts and feelings in writing. In parallel with this, she herself learns to better understand the feelings of other people.

This film miraculously comes out, as it was worked on by Kyoto Animation, whose office was set on fire. However, the film survived, as it was essentially already finished. Again, due to arson, the release was postponed to the next year.
