American screenwriters awarded their colleagues
The 69th Writers Guild of America ( Scripting Guild of America Awards ceremony was held today at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles and the Edison Ballroom Building in New York City) b>Writers Guild of America ).The Guild is made up of more than 25,000 screenwriters who annually celebrate the achievements of their colleagues in the film, television, radio and gaming industries. As the organization consists of the West and East branches, the WGA awards ceremony is traditionally held simultaneously on two coasts of the United States. Lewis Black hosted the event in New York, while Patton Oswalt entertained the California audience for the second year in a row. It is worth noting that a year ago the WGA managed to predict the names of the future " Oscars " winners in the categories "Best Original Screenplay" and "Best Adapted Screenplay".
