Writers Guild Give Out Awards
The 68th Writers Guild of America Awards was held today at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles and the Edison Ballroom Building in New York City. ( Writers Guild of America ).The Guild includes more than 25,000 screenwriters who annually celebrate the achievements of their colleagues in the film, television, radio and gaming industries. The WGA organization is divided into the West and East branches, which is why the Writers Guild awards ceremony is traditionally held simultaneously on different coasts of the United States. The Los Angeles event was hosted by Patton Oswalt, while the New York guests were entertained by Michael Ian Black.
