Awarded the USA Writers Guild Awards
The USA Screenwriters Guild Awards ceremony took place in the USA. Best Original Screenplay Josh Singer, Thomas McCarthy, Spotlight Writer. The Best Adapted Screenplay category went to Adam McKay and Charles Randolph, for The Falling Game. In the nomination "Drama Series" the prize was awarded to the scriptwriter of the television series "Mad Men". In the section of comedy series, the victory was won by the scriptwriters of the "VIP" TV project. In the nomination "Best Screenplay for a New Series," the award went to the scriptwriting team of "Mr. Robot". Best script for an episode in a drama series and best script for an episode in a comedy series won "Better Call Saul" ("Uno") and "Silicon Valley" ("Sand Hill Shuffle"), respectively. Note that in most cases, the winners of the US Writers Guild Awards then receive awards from the American Film Academy.
