Batman knows all about the stars
Judging by the cast in the new Batman, the Dark Knight film directed by Matt Reeves is worthy of the wait. Two more names have been added to the list of those who are ready for a visit to gloomy Gotham - Colin Farrell and Andy Serkis.Farrell is in talks to get the role of Penguin. Recall that earlier Oswald Cobblepot was offered to play John Hill, but the actor himself leaned towards the image of the Riddler, and in the end the parties could not agree. Now the Riddler will be Paul Dano, and the Penguin will be Farrell. If you add to them Zoe Kravitz, who got the role of Catwoman, then a very amusing picture emerges with the colorful villains of DC. And Reeves is unlikely to limit himself to three antagonists from the Batman comics, although this trio will seem to be Bruce Wayne's main problem. As for Andy Serkis, he claims to be Alfred - Bruce Wayne's butler and his permanent assistant and ally. Serkis, by the way, has admitted more than once that he considers Matt Reeves an excellent director and is ready to star in any of his films. Hopefully, Andy's other projects won't interfere with his trip to Gotham.  Both Serkis and Farrell have experience in comic book adaptation. So, the latter played Bullseye in "Daredevil". Serkis has appeared in Age of Ultron and Black Panther, and now he is also going to lead the filming of Venom 2. The premiere of the new "Batman" is scheduled for June 24, 2021.
