Riddle for Batman
Just yesterday we reported that the negotiations of Jonah Hill, who chose between the roles of the Riddler and the Penguin in the new "Batman", with the studio Warner Bros. are at a dead end. As it turned out, director Matt Reeves had a backup plan, and after a failed attempt with Hill, he immediately put it into action.The role of the Riddler in Reeves' film went to Paul Dano ("War and Peace"). He may not have Oscar nominations like Jonah Hill, but a couple of months ago Dano was one of the Emmy nominations for Escape from Dannemora. Insiders report that the actor has always been on the list of top contenders for the role of the Riddler. What role in the plot of "Batman" will play one of the most famous enemies of the Dark Knight is still unclear. It is only known that in Reeves' interpretation, the antagonist will be called Edward Nashton (instead of the classic Edward Nygma). Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz and Jeffrey Wright have already given their consent to participate in the filming of the film. It is reported that Reeves' team is now actively looking for an actor to play the Penguin. The director dreamed of seeing John Hill in this character, but he gravitated towards the role of the Riddler.  Filming for "Batman" will begin next year.
