From Queen to Bee Gees
Oscar winner Graham King will continue his fascinating excursion into the history of music. The producer of Bohemian Rhapsody is preparing a film about the famous group Bee Gees.The musical group was born in 1958 thanks to the brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibbs. The first at that time was 12 years old, and the other two were nine. Despite the young age of the performers, the group enjoyed tremendous success in Australia. In 1967, the brothers left the green continent and moved to England. In those days, the Bee Gees played regular rock, so they failed to impress the discerning British music lover. Everything changed when the Gibbs became interested in the disco style. In 1977, they wrote the score for Saturday Night Fever, which grossed over $ 237 million from a modest $ 3 million budget. The hit movie soundtrack sold 54 million copies and made the Bee Gees one of the most popular bands in the world.  The film will be financed by the Paramount studio, which released "Rocketman".
