Greg Oliver will direct Lemmy Kilmister's biopic
Ian Fraser Kilmister, founder of the band Motorhead and hard rock icon, will receive his own biopic. The musician, known throughout the world as Lemmy, passed away in 2015 at the age of 70, having become one of the most recognizable cult figures in the world of rock and roll. Lemmy will be directed by Greg Oliver, who knows firsthand the work and life of the rocker: the director spent three years studying the group Motorhead and its lead singer for a documentary in 2010.The upcoming biopic will center around Kilmister as"the symbol of the loudest, dirtiest and most liberated rock 'n' roll band in the world". The tape will also touch upon the artist's early years: life in England, the times when he was roadie (road manager) for Jimi Hendrix, as well as his participation in the Hawkwind group, from which Lemmy was later expelled for uncontrollable behavior. Only after 30 years, the musician will create a group called Motorhead, which is destined to change the world of rock: a mixture of loud, fast and completely free rock'n'roll, who did not want to apologize to anyone, filled the empty niche between heavy metal, thrash metal and punk.  “Everything you've heard about Lemmy is likely to be true. There is no information yet about who will play the legendary musician. It is known that shortly before his death, Kilmister wanted Roger Moore to play his role on the screen.
