David Fincher talks behind the scenes of rock music

Image David Fincher , who shot music videos for Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, George Michael, Madonna and Sting at the dawn of his career, is ready to plunge back into the world of rock music. The iconic filmmaker will produce the biographical drama of New Regency Studios about the life of Danny Sugerman music manager, The Tracking Board reports.

Sugerman began his collaboration with The Doors at the age of 12, when the musicians entrusted him to answer letters from their fans. After the death of The Doors frontman Jim Morrison in 1971, Danny was named the new manager of the rock band. The death of the legendary musician made such a strong impression on Sugerman that he plunged into depression. In 1973 the group The Doors ceased to exist, after which Danny began to collaborate with Iggy Pop. Soon enough, the manager and his ward ended up in hospital beds in a rehabilitation center for drug addicts and alcoholics ...

To get rid of bad habits Danny was helped by his passion for Buddhism. In 1980, he wrote his first book on Morrison - " None of us get out of here alive ", and 11 years later he acted as a consultant to Oliver Stone's film The Doors.
