Twice Academy Award-nominated David Fincher (The Social Network) has been commissioned to produce the series from HBO. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is a comedy set in the 80s music video business.

The plot of the comedy series, tentatively titled "Video Synchronicity", revolves around a naive guy named Robbie, who, after graduating from college, goes to Hollywood, dreaming of making a sci-fi epic. In Los Angeles, he gets a job as an assistant at a music video production company. The series through the eyes of an inexperienced Robbie will show what was happening in this segment of the entertainment industry in the 80s of the last century.

The star of the series "Red Bracelets" Charlie Rowe approved for the lead role. The actor will replace the retired Tyler Ross ("Murder"), who starred in the title role in the first two episodes presented to the channel instead of the traditional pilot.
