Prince has passed away
Today, at the 58th year of his life, Prince , an American singer and composer, winner of the Grammy , Oscars and "Golden Globe" . The official cause of death is still unknown, but a week ago, the musician, who fell ill with the flu during a tour, needed urgent medical attention.Prince began his creative career back in 1978, and since then the rock artist has released about 40 studio albums, recorded over 160 soundtracks for various films and TV series, and also worked on his own memoirs. In 1984, Prince starred in Albert Magnoli's iconic film Purple Rain, which tells the story of a young musician struggling with problems at home, with competitors on stage, and even with his own band. For the music for this film, Prince won a Oscar and was nominated for a Golden Globe .  The singer also worked on the soundtracks for "Batman" by Tim Burton, and on the big screens the musician could be seen in the films "Under the Cherry Moon", "Sign of the Times" and "The Graffiti Bridge". Prince directed all three films himself. In the early 90s, the musician actively fought against piracy, was not afraid to experiment with genres and recorded several compositions in duets with other famous performers. In 2007, Prince won a Golden Globe for “ The Song Of The Heart ” from Happy Feet. Prince's last two albums were released last year.  In 2005, Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame .
