Dwayne Johnson will celebrate the legendary wrestler

Image Actor, producer and ex-wrestler Dwayne Johnson continues to give back to the sport that made him a superstar. Following the comedy "Fighting My Family" and the recently announced biopic of one-legged wrestler Anthony Robles, Scala will produce a film about American wrestling legend Rick Flair.

Many sports publications in the United States consider Flair the greatest wrestler of all time. He began his career in the ring in 1972 and ended in 2012 when he was 63 years old. Rick has won so many prestigious awards that even professional statisticians find it difficult to list all of his titles. The WWE Federation recognized Rick as a 16-time world champion, but the athlete himself believes that sports officials should have taken into account five more victories.

In 2012, Flair made wrestling history as the first wrestler to earn a double mention in the WWE Hall of Fame: first for individual achievements, and then for his participation in the Four Horsemen.
