Dwayne Johnson will master a new kind of martial arts. The actor and wrestler will play MMA fighter Mark Kerr in the as-yet-untitled sports drama from Seven Bucks Productions.The presentation of the film project took place at the famous New York arena Madison Square Garden, preparing for the UFC 244 tournament. It is obvious that the film will be created with the support of the sports organization Ultimate Fighting Championship. "Kerr's life story is insanely interesting," Johnson said at a press conference. "Mark has achieved tremendous success, especially considering that he had to fight not only with rivals, but also with internal demons." In his youth, Kerr was engaged in wrestling, but this sport did not bring serious income. Mark moved on to mixed martial arts and quickly hit the pencil for the UFC scouts. Kerr's professional career began with 12 straight wins. Some sports publications called the athlete the strongest fighter in the history of MMA. Unfortunately, Kerr could not stand the test of fame and became addicted to drugs. As a result, he lost 11 of the next 14 fights.  The timing of the film has not yet been announced.
