Gina Carano to star in Kickboxer Remake
Mixed fighting champion and popular actress Gina Carano will play in the new version of the movie "Kickboxer". This is reported by the Comingsoon edition. She will get the role of the insidious organizer of deadly fights. According to a spokesman for the studio Radar Pictures, which will be movieing the picture, Carano's character "is a real boa constrictor in this jungle of underground fighting." At the time of this writing, the shooting of the remake has already started and will take place in New Orleans and Thailand. The main role will be played by the famous stuntman and master of martial arts Alain Moussi. The movie will also star the actor Scott Adkins, popular wrestler Dave Batista, champion of mixed fights Georges St-Pierre and star of the original movie Jean-Claude Van Damme, who in the new version went to the martial arts master who trains the main character. Terms of work on the project and a possible rental schedule have not yet been specified. As a reminder, the first movie was released in 1989. Its plot was built around two brothers going to the martial arts championship in Thailand.
