Mickey Rourke wins fight with superstar wrestling
Mickey Rourke kept his promise to fight a professional wrestler. At Wrestlemania-25, the actor, who was in the audience as a spectator, took up the challenge from wrestling superstar Chris Jericho. Entering the ring, Rourke abandoned the traditional professional wrestling techniques that he learned during the preparation for the movieing of The Wrestler, and knocked out Jericho with a boxing hook on the left. Recall that Mickey Rourke said about willingness to take part in a wrestling match shortly after the movie was released. Rourke named Jericho as his likely enemy. The latter, in turn, stated that the actor was making a big mistake, challenging him to a fight.
