Triumph of the Spirit
Dwayne Johnson manages not only to act in blockbusters, but also to produce sports films. Rock liked the work on last year's "Wrestling with My Family" so much that he conceived another picture about wrestling. This time Johnson's company will tell about the courageous wrestler Anthony Robles.Robles was born without his right leg. Doctors picked up a prosthesis, but Anthony abandoned the artificial limb and turned the birth defect into a serious weapon on the wrestling mat. The boy became interested in wrestling in the eighth grade. The guy barely resisted the two-legged athletes, but still trained the right muscles and took advantage of the shifted center of gravity. Robles has been named the top American college-age wrestler three times. In his final year, he won the US national championship, winning all 36 bouts of the season. Anthony subsequently became a motivator and released his memoir The Unstoppable.  The sports drama will be written by Jason Hall ("The Sniper").
