Obi-Wan will be delayed
A few days ago, there were rumors on the Web that the Walt Disney Empire and Lucasfilm studio refused to shoot Obi-Wan Kenobi's solo album. Reputable Hollywood sources claim that the Disney + project is indeed in trouble. Fortunately for Star Wars fans, this is not a complete cancellation of the series.According to insiders, Lucasfilm executives are disappointed with Hussein Amini's script. The series was scheduled to go into production in the coming weeks, but will now be frozen until studio head Kathleen Kennedy receives new lyrics. At the beginning of the year, we reported that the authors of the TV project are looking for young actors for secret roles, which may well turn out to be Luke and Leia. Apparently, the story of the adventures of Kenobi and the Skywalker babies resembled the plot of the recent TV hit The Mandalorian. It is possible that this part of the script will be rewritten, and the number of Obi-Wan episodes will be reduced from six to four.  Despite the delay in production, Lucasfilm and Disney + have no plans to release actor Ewan McGregor and director Deborah Chow, who shone while working on the aforementioned "Mandalorian".
