Casting: Great Husband and 20th Century Women
According to the news portal The Wrap , Matt Bomer has joined the all-star cast of " The Magnificent Seven ", a modern remake of the 1960 film of the same name. Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, Wagner Mora, Haley Bennett and Jason Momoa have already signed up for the film.In the center of the action are seven mercenaries who help the inhabitants of a Mexican village to defend themselves from attacks by a local gang of robbers. Haley Bennett will play a woman who turns to these mercenaries for help, and Bomer has to portray her husband on the screen. Antoine Fuqua is the director of the project, and the script is being written by John Lee Hancock and Nick Pizzolatto.  In the near future, Bomer , winner of the Golden Globe Award for his role in the TV movie "The Normal Heart" ( The Normal Heart ), can be seen in the painting "Super Mike XXL". The actor is also busy filming the crime thriller Goodfellas. In addition, it became known that Sarah Silverman ("A Million Ways to Lose Your Head") has received a role in the new comedy studio Universal , which has no official title. The main characters in the project will be played by Andy Samberg, Akiva Shaffer and Jorma Takkone. The latter two will also lead the filming of the film. The hero will face a difficult task - he will have to team up with his former bandmates to give a new concert. Silverman got the role of a cunning and cynical agent of the musician, who has to endure all the attacks from the boss.  Finally, the cast of Mike Mills' new film 20th Century Women includes Annette Bening (American Beauty), Greta Gerwig (Roman Adventures ") and El Faning (" Maleficent ").Set in 1979, the drama tells the story of Dorothea Fields ( Bening ), a single mother from Santa Barbara. To cope with raising a difficult teenager Jamie , the heroine turns to two completely different girls for help - a young photographer Abby ( Gerwig ), who returned to her native town and now lives with Dorothea , and 16-year-old friend of her son ( Faning ), who has her own views on life.
