Memorial gatherings
Variety reports that Amy Smart (Butterfly Effect, Peaceful Warrior) will co-star in the indie drama Sister Cities .Her co-stars on the set will be Jackie Weaver ("My Boyfriend Is Crazy"), Alfred Molina (Frida), Troian Avery Bellisario ("The World Through the Keyhole"), Stana Katic ("Castle" / Castle ), Jess Weixler ("The Face of Love") and Michelle Trachtenberg ("Pisaka"). In the center of the plot are four sisters living separately, gathered together to mourn the death of their mother, who, they think, committed suicide.  Filming, which began last week in Los Angeles, is being directed by Sean Hanish (Into the Beginning). Recent films featuring Amy Smart include an independent comedy project called Tipping Point.
