Statham will hunt a prehistoric shark
The movie " Meg " has been under development for two decades, and according to the latest information, the project is finally starting to gain momentum. According to the portal Deadline , Jason State is in talks to take the lead role in this tape about a prehistoric shark.The director's chair of the project will be taken by John Terteltaub (National Treasure), who replaced Eli Roth in March. Dean Jorgaris (Life of Pi) will adapt Steve Alten's bestseller, which is the basis of the tape. The thriller is produced by the film companies Warner Bros. and Gravity , together with Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Bell Avery and Colin Wilson. The events of the picture revolve around a team that has arranged a hunt for a giant shark, which is in the habit of eating swimmers off the coast of China. The group soon discovers that their target belongs to the extinct species of Megalodon and is one of the largest and most dangerous predators in the history of mankind.  Last year, Jason State appeared on the big screens in the comedy "The Spy" and the seventh "Fast and Furious". The actor is expected to return to the role of The Deckard Show and in the eighth part of the racing franchise, and not so long ago, Jason completed shooting in the action movie "The Mechanic: Resurrection".
