Giant shark changes owner

Image Many horror fans were overjoyed when it became known that Eli Roth would take over as the director of the thriller " Meg ". But now, according to the portal Movieweb , the filmmaker, known for the horror films "Fever" and "Hostel", has decided to leave the project.

Warner Bros. quickly picked up Rota a replacement: John Terteltaub is already in talks with the studio. Work on the adaptation has been going on for almost 20 years, and the last draft was written by Dean Jorgaris (Life of Pi). The major is co-financing the thriller with the Chinese company Gravity , and the project is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Bell Avery and Colin Wilson.

The events in the film will revolve around a giant prehistoric shark that is in the habit of eating swimmers off the coast of China. Locals soon find out that the shark is a representative of the megalodon species - one of the largest and most powerful predators in the history of mankind.
