The Cuba director begins wandering in King's tall grass
ScreenDaily has got exclusive information that the Canadian company Copperheart Entertainment is starting work on the adaptation of the short story "In the Tall Grass" , written by Stephen King with Joe Hill .The director's chair of the film will be taken by Vincenzo Natali ("Cube"), who also adapts the plot of the novel. Steven Hoban of Copperheart will take over the production of the project together with Mosaic Media . The story was first published in Esquire magazine.According to the plot, a young boy Cal and his pregnant sister Becky set off on a trip to Kansas. On the way, they suddenly hear cries for help coming from the fields. Having stopped to see what is happening, the heroes begin to wander through the tall grass and lose each other.
