Patrick Wilson to star in King's thriller
Two-time Golden Globe nominee Patrick Wilson, best known to TV fans for his role as Lou Solverson in the Fargo anthology and for the horror movie The Conjuring, has landed a role in In the Tall Grass. The adaptation of the novel, written by the King of Horror Stephen King and his son Joe Hill, is in charge of the streaming service Netflix. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actors Leila De Oliveira and Harrison Gilbertson signed their contracts with Patrick.The plot of the thriller revolves around a brother and sister traveling across America. Hearing children's screams coming from a field somewhere in Kansas, they stopped the car on the side of the road and went in search of the child. Soon Cal and Becky will realize that there is no way out of this tall grass. Leila will play Becky, and what roles Patrick and Harrison went to is not yet reported. Earlier it became known that James Marsden will also be involved in the filming of the thriller.  In the Tall Grass will be written and directed by Vincenzo Natali, who directed the film Cube and worked on the series Wayward Pines and The Strain. One of the recent successful projects based on the works of Stephen King can be safely called the new series "Castle Rock", which premiered on Hulu at the end of last month.
