James Marsden will get lost in King's tall grass
James Marsden, best known for his roles in Highway 60 and The Godmother, is in talks to star in the 2012 thriller, The Tall Green Grass, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Co-authored by Stephen King with his son Joe Hill. The project is being developed by the streaming giant Netflix.The story tells of a brother and sister who drive their car across the country. Hearing the cry of a child from a field overgrown with tall grass somewhere in Kansas, they park on the side of the road and go in search of someone who needs help. But very quickly Cal and Becky realize that they will need help. First, they lose sight of each other, and then it turns out that it is impossible to get out of this grass ...  In the Tall Grass will be written and directed by Vincenzo Natali, who directed the claustrophobic thriller Cube and has worked on such successful series as The Strain, Wayward Pines and American Gods.
