The Corn Babies are ready to come out again
As the portal Bloody Disgusting managed to find out, the shooting of the movie Runaway , which is already the tenth in the franchise " Children of the Corn ", has started in Oklahoma City. It is noteworthy that the first part of the film series was based on the story of the same name by Stephen King.The director's chair of the project was taken by John Gulager , who presented the audience with the "Feast" trilogy and the horror movie "Piranhas 3DD". The script for the new tape was written by Joel Swisson ("Dracula 2000"). It is reported to be a sequel to the horror film Children of the Corn: Genisys. The film focuses on a young woman named Ruth who managed to escape a cruel cult from a small town in the Midwest. The heroine is trying with all her might to protect her son from the horrors she experienced in childhood, while trying to hide from her own past.  Curiously, Ruth was one of the heroines of the 2009 full-length remake of Children of the Corn . There she was played by Alexa Nicholas, and insiders believe that the new project is directly related to this reboot.
