As reported by Variety , Disney has undertaken to produce and co-finance a new film by Steven Spielberg The Big Good Giant . Thus, this will be the first joint project between the renowned director and an equally renowned film studio.Also, after several months of casting, the following actors were finally approved for their roles: Mark Rylance (as the titular character), Ruby Barnhill (as the orphan Sophie traveling with him), Penelope Wilton ( The Queen b>), as well as Adam Godley, Bill Hader, Jemaine Clement, Jonathan Holmes, Daniel Bacon and Rebecca Hall. “I have been making films for over 40 years, and during this time I have acted as a producer for various Disney projects, but never tried myself as a director of this studio, - commented Spielberg on the new a milestone on your creative path. -I am incredibly happy about the new form of cooperation and I am looking forward to starting work with my friends and old colleagues ... ".  In the story, little girl Sophie and BDV , the kindest giant in the whole wide world, go to the Land of Giants to prevent the prolific villains from doing bad things.Two bosom friends are determined to free the world from such nasty creatures as Bloodworms, Kostypogrym, Kiddog and their nefarious partners. The production of the film adaptation of the book of the English classic and connoisseur of baby souls Roald Dahl has already begun in Vancouver, and the release of the project is scheduled for July next year.
