The Crow remake again suffers losses

Image The Crow Remake has overcome many difficulties on the way to its implementation. Directors and actors followed each other with enviable consistency, but finally, last December, Corinne Hardy took over the responsibility to lead the filming of the film. However, soon Luke Evans, who planned to play Eric Draven , dropped out of the project, and Jack Houston ("The Long Road") was chosen in his place.

Now Variety shares disappointing news - Houston is also forced to leave the project due to problems with the schedule: the actor is now busy filming Timur Bekmambetov's epic Ben-Hur.

“Unfortunately, Jack will not be able to continue work on The Raven ,, the director commented on Houston's departure Corinne Hardy . -Our film is a wonderful project and we will do our best to get it right. We plan to find a leading actor and start filming as soon as possible. ”

Among the candidates for the role of Draven Relativity Studios is considering nominations for Nicholas Hoult ("The Heat of Our Bodies") and Jack O'Connell ("Unbroken"). The studio is also in talks with Forest Whitaker ("The Last King of Scotland"), but details of his participation in the remake have not yet been disclosed.
