A remake of the movie The Raven is left without a leading actor again

The long-suffering remake of the fantastic movie "The Raven" again found itself without a leading role. According to Variety, Jack Houston left the project. The traditional "conflict of shooting schedules" is cited as the reason.

"In the near future we will introduce you a new actor and expect to start movieing in the next few months," - commented the director of "The Crow" Corinne Hardy. It is worth noting that the creator of the original comic, James O'Barr, was very pleased with the candidacy of Jack Huston.

Talks about a possible restart of "The Crow" have been going on in Hollywood for many years, for the first time this was announced back in 2010. The performers of the title role at one time included Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, James McAvoy and Luke Evans. But all of them, for one reason or another, eventually refused to participate in the project. The directors of the remake changed just as often. Initially, the producers counted on Stephen Norrington, then Juan Carlos Fresnandillo replaced him, and finally the post of director went to the creator of the video clips Corin Hardy.

The first adaptation of the comic book series featuring Brandon Lee was released in 1994. Several feature movies and a television series have been created based on O'Barr's graphic novels.
