Image The Cannes Film Festival , which took place this year from 13 to 24 May, has completed its work. 19 films were presented to the honorary jury headed by Joel and Ethan Coen.

The main prize, Palme d'Or , went to French filmmaker Jacques Audiar. The director has already come close to receiving the honorary award twice - with the film "The Prophet" in 2009 he won the Grand Prix , and in 1996 he won the prize for the best script for the drama "An unknown hero".

Golden Camera Best Debut: Cesar Augusto Acevedo (La tierra y la sombra)

Best Actor : Vincent Lyndon (The Common Man)

Rooney Mara ("Carol") and Emmanuelle Berko ("My King") shared the award for Best Actress .

Best Screenplay : Michelle Franco (Chronic)

Jury Prize : Yorgos Lanthimos (Lobster)
