Fox will squeeze all the juice out of Marvel characters
At the end of last year it became known that the Walt Disney empire is ready to shell out more than $ 60 billion for the main assets of the Fox corporation. According to The Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox has decided to urgently launch several comic books at once in order to have time to exercise its rights to Marvel characters before the deal of the century is approved by the US Department of Justice's antitrust committee.This year, Fox studio will present two superhero blockbusters to the public. In May, the chatty mercenary Deadpool will appear on USA screens, and the premiere of the film "Dark Phoenix" will take place in November. According to Hollywood insiders, at least three 20th Century Fox comics may be released next year. One of them will be the horror "New Mutants", the USA premiere of which is scheduled for February 21, 2019. It is possible that the audience will also meet with Gambit. Rumor has it that Fox management has finally decided on the budget for the long-suffering solo album Remy Lebeau and will receive the final version of his script from day to day.  X-Force, starring Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin, may also take a place in the studio's 2019 release schedule. Filming about the famous superhero team Marvel should start this fall. Fox also plans to create solo albums by Kitty Pride and Doctor Doom. The film about a student of Charles Xavier's school is directed by the director of the first Deadpool, Tim Miller, while the supervillain blockbuster about the enemy of the Fantastic Four is being directed by the creator of the TV series Fargo and Legion, Noah Hawley.  As it became known to the journalists of The Hollywood Reporter, the Fox management decided to launch a spin-off about another character in the Fantastic Four comics. The studio bosses gave the go-ahead to create a film about the Silver Surfer, who during his half-century career in the pages of graphic novels managed to act as a villain and a superhero. The plot of the film about the famous Marvel character will be thought up by popular screenwriter and comic book author Brian K. Vaughn (Under the Dome, Lost).  The Fox bosses' attempt to cash in on Marvel comics for the last time runs the risk of not only saturating the film market with superhero blockbusters, but will certainly seriously complicate the life of Kevin Feige, who will have to puzzle over how to organically fit the characters of numerous X-Men and Fantastic Four films into his successful cinematic universe.
